Keshet International’s UK office has hired Amelia Hann, the producer behind shows such as The Undateables and Ross Kemp on Gangs, to be its head of unscripted programming.

Hann, who joins Keshet’s London office with immediate effect, will head up a new factual production company focused on original unscripted programming, reporting to MD Alon Shtruzman.

She will also focus on building joint ventures and coproductions with the UK creative community, developing output across documentary, factual entertainment, entertainment and game shows.

The new venture will build on and complement Keshet’s existing programming slate, which includes scripted dramas such as Prisoners of War and Homeland, and unscripted titles such as Girlfri3nds and The Vault.

Most recently, Hann served as exec producer on Channel 4′s The Undateables. Other credits include Ross Kemp on Gangs (Sky1), Wife Swap USA (ABC) and The Hunt for Britain’s Sex Traffickers (Channel 4), among many others.

In a statement, Shtruzman said: “We are continuing to build our teams globally to ensure that the specific needs of local broadcasters and television cultures are served. I have every confidence that Amelia will deliver.”

Hann added: “It’s a great opportunity to build something new and I look forward to collaborating with some of the best talent out there both in-house and as coproducers.”
