The Weinstein Company (TWC) has hired Patrick Reardon to be its senior VP of television, effective immediately.

In the role, Reardon will work across all existing TWC reality programming, along with other forthcoming projects “to be announced shortly,” the company said. He will report to TWC’s president of television Meryl Poster in New York.

TWC’s TV team also includes VP of television Barbara Schneeweiss, director of television Bradley Cherna, and recently promoted television executive Liz Perz.

“TWC produces and distributes some of the best entertainment in film and television today and I could not be more excited to join the team,” said Reardon. “It’s an honor to work alongside the likes of Harvey Weinstein and Meryl Poster. I look forward to contributing to the growth of the company’s already outstanding television department.”

Prior to TWC, Reardon served as the showrunner for the MTV series Washington Heights. He also worked for two years as VP of development and current series at New York-based Original Media.
