Reality TV veteran Julie Laughlin-Jones has inked a long-term, overall deal with Discovery Studios, the production arm of Discovery Communications.

The executive producer, whose credits include TLC’s Policewomen of Broward County, Animal Planet’s My Extreme Animal Phobia, CBS’s Big Brother and ABC’s Extreme Makeover, will develop programming for the company, which is one of the cable giant’s largest content suppliers.

“Having worked with Discovery on many projects, I have always been impressed by its forward-thinking approach to developing innovative, distinctive programming,” she said in a statement. “I have a lot of ideas and look forward to partnering with the team at Discovery Studios to bring them to life.”
