U.S. cable network WE tv has added House of Curves to its summer slate, with the docuseries set to air on June 13.

Produced by Pie Town Productions, the 6 x one-hour series is centered on Atlanta-based plus-sized fashion designer Kenyatta Jones as she looks to make a name for herself in the fashion world. As CEO of Bella René, Jones works alongside two of her best friends from college, an assistant and her mother.

The show will follow Jones and her crew as they try to get their work recognized in New York City.

House of Curves joins the rest of WE tv’s summer line-up, which also includes Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezillas, Pregnant & Datingand Sanya’s Glam & Gold, along with the returning series Bridezillas, L.A. Hair and Kendra on Top.

“As an entrepreneur and all-around savvy woman, Kenyatta is the perfect example of the type of woman that WE tv spotlights – strong, independent and taking charge of her life,” said Lauren Gellert, WE tv’s senior vice president of original production and development.

“Kenyatta is relatable to so many working women who are ‘leaning in’ to their careers while also offering viewers a high-octane dose of entertainment with her fierce attitude and take-on-the-world perspective.”
