Banijay Int’l taps Humphrey for sales and acquistions

The London-headquartered distributor has hired former Shine and FremantleMedia acquisitions and development exec Jimmy Humphrey (pictured) to be its sales and acquisitions manager.

Banijay International has hired Jimmy Humphrey (pictured) to serve as sales and acquisitions manager.

Based at the distributor’s headquarters in London, he will oversee sales for the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Italy and Portugal, as well as acquisition of formats and finished tape for international sales in the UK, Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand.

Humphrey previously spent seven years as an acquisitions and development executive at FremantleMedia and later took an acquisitions position at Shine International.

“He brings with him a wealth of experience from the international distribution industry and will be a real asset to our growing team,” said Banijay International MD Karoline Spodsberg in a statement.
