Paul Teutul Sr. and his custom motorcycle team are returning to television, with U.S. cable network CMT commissioning Pilgrim Studios to produce Orange County Choppers.

The American Chopper star and his team at Orange County Choppers will build bikes, pull pranks, and more in the 8 x one-hour series, which is set to debut later this year. The series promises to show a completely different side of the OCC crew, headed up by Teutul Sr.

“We’re thrilled to be back on television doing what we do best: building outrageous custom motorcycles,” said Teutul Sr. “We have a lot of very cool projects coming up and can’t wait to deliver on this new partnership with CMT and Pilgrim.”

Pilgrim Studios founder Craig Piligian added: “Pilgrim’s relationship with Paul Sr. goes back more than a decade, and we’ve seen his creative and mechanical genius first-hand. We’re so glad to be working with him again and look forward to bringing OCC’s unique brand of excitement and inspiration to CMT viewers.”

American Chopper aired on Discovery Channel and TLC until December 2012.
