WE tv gets “Obsessed with the Dress”

WE tv has tapped Pie Town Production to make Obsessed with the Dress, the latest series the join the U.S. network's summer line-up.

Pie Town Production has been tapped to produce Obsessed with the Dress, the latest series added to WE tv’s summer line-up.

Premiering on August 9 at 9 p.m. EST, the 6 x 60-minute series follows the pageant girls and their families that frequent The Winning Crown boutique in Omaha. Headed up by former pageant winner Michel Strom, Obsessed with the Dress follows the staff, demanding clientèle, and the drama of in-store conflicts.

The series joins a summer slate that includes the previously announced Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezillas, Pregnant & Dating, House of Curves and Sanya’s Glam & Gold, as well as returning series Bridezillas and L.A. Hair.¬†

“This truly is an original summer on WE tv, with more new and returning shows than ever before featuring women who are strong, relatable and in control of their lives,” said Kim Martin, WE tv’s president and general manager.

“From running households to overseeing successful businesses, the women of WE tv are authentic and living life on their own terms, yet also sometimes challenged and flawed the way only real women can be. Their stories are endearing, enlightening, and always entertaining.”
