Aito Media adds Metronome exec

The former head of development at Metronome Finland, Topi Salo, has joined Finnish prodco Aito Media to oversee its Nordic operations.

The former head of development at Metronome Finland, Topi Salo, has joined Finnish prodco Aito Media to oversee its Nordic operations.

Salo will strengthen Aito’s management and development team, and work as a key executive producer¬†for the company’s studio productions, according to Aito’s CEO, Ilkka Hynninen.

The prodco’s output includes The Night Patrol, Redneck Auction and Arctic Ocean in 30 Days.¬†In this year alone Aito has produced more than 150 hours of non-scripted content in Finland, Norway and Sweden.

“Aito is going to be a big player in Nordic markets and the challenges we are now facing are more than interesting,” said Salo.
