Trailblazer Studios bolsters entertainment team

The North Carolina-based shop has hired executive producer Michael Lucker (pictured), producer Clark McCarthy-Miller and production manager Kristin Genszler for its entertainment division.

North Carolina-based production company Trailblazer Studios has hired three people for its entertainment team.

Veteran Hollywood screenwriter and producer Michael Lucker (pictured) joins as executive producer to work alongside director of development Brenna Eckerson to develop original television series’ and branded entertainment. His television credits include programs for Discovery, History, Animal Planet, NBC, TLC and A&E.

The Raleigh-headquartered company also hired Clark McCarthy-Miller, who has worked on Jon & Kate Plus 8 and Salvage Dawgs, as producer, and Kristin Genszler, whose credits include Salvage Dawgs and and upcoming PBS series, joins as production manager.

Additionally, Katye Rone will transition from business development into the role of senior director of original programming and development. She will be based in Chicago.
