Bravo greenlights beauty pageant docuseries

Game of Crowns (w/t), produced by Shed Media U.S., will follow six women who balance competing in beauty pageants with their home and work lives.

U.S. cable net Bravo is entering the beauty pageant space by greenlighting Game of Crowns (w/t), a docuseries following six women who balance competing in beauty pageants with their home and work lives.

The women, ranging from a former Mrs. Massachusetts Perfect Woman who also has a daughter competing in pageants to a “pageant lifer” who runs a multi-million dollar eyewear company, will be seen preparing for pageants while “remaining dedicated mothers and wives,” according to the network.

The series will be produced by Shed Media U.S. with Pamela Healey and Lisa Shannon serving as executive producers. The premiere date is to be announced.
