U.S. net MTV is lining up a feature documentary on pop star Miley Cyrus (pictured), and has confirmed fall premiere dates for docuseries Generation Cryo and Nurses (working title).
MTV’s as-yet-untitled, hour-long doc on Cyrus will be produced in-house by the MTV News and Docs team, the network said. The film promises to follow the star as she works on her new album and “delves deep into the transformation she has experienced over the past few years.”
Generation Cryo, which premieres in November, is an hour-long docudrama that explores the issues faced by a generation of kids who were conceived via anonymous sperm donors, and who are now redefining what it means to be a family, according to MTV.
Nurses, meanwhile, follows a group of travel nurses assigned to work at an Orange County hospital for 13 weeks. It is slated to premiere this fall, with an exact airdate to follow.
Finally, MTV also confirmed it is renewing Snooki & JWOWW for a third season.
