Toronto-based distributor Peace Point Rights has nabbed the rights to the feature-length documentary JFK: The Smoking Gun, produced by Muse Entertainment and Cordell Jigsaw Zapruder, for selected territories.

As part of the deal with Muse Distribution International, the 90- and 60-minute versions of the Australia-Canada copro will be represented by Peace Point in Latin America, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

JFK: The Smoking Gun looks at the assassination of John F. Kennedy through the work of police detective Colin McLaren, who spent four years looking at the evidence and eye-witness testimony and applied modern technology to the cold case.

The doc will air on Discovery Channel Canada, SBS in Australia, and Reelz Channel in the U.S. in November.

“Muse Entertainment has a stellar reputation as one the industry’s finest producers and we look forward to working with them on these and many more exceptional titles,” said Les Tomlin, president of Peace Point Entertainment.
