U.S. cable network OWN is set to debut The Customer is Always Right?, a reality series from Katalyst, on September 5.

In the one-hour series, CEOs from companies including Mrs. Fields, Mazda, TCBY and Sizzler invite unsuspecting customers to join the organization for a week, where they can offer feedback and new ideas.

The reality experiment will follow the participants as they come up with strategies to better the business, which are then implemented, and in the end judged by a final focus group. The participants will receive a cash prize if the group likes their suggestions.

The first episode kicks off with two customers working with executives at cookie retailer Mrs. Fields (pictured above). OWN and its sister network TLC partnered on the show, and TLC is set to air The Customer is Always Right? in December.
