Facebook’s vice president of partnerships Dan Rose (pictured) is set to give a keynote at MIPCOM in Cannes, where he will discuss the ways social media can be used in the industry.

The keynote address, which is part of MIPCOM’s Media Mastermind Keynote series, will take place on October 7. Rose is globally responsible for Facebook’s mobile partnerships, platform developer relationships, business development, M&A and user operations.

He will bring this expertise to the MIPCOM keynote address and will talk about new opportunities for producers and broadcasters of social media’s ability to drive viewer loyalty, retention and influence TV ratings.

Rose will also share insights into the impact of word-of-mouth on the television industry and how broadcasters can make use of this. MIPCOM will take place in Cannes, France, from October 7-10.
