Animal Planet in the U.S. has renewed My Cat From Hell, while Channel 4 in the UK has signed on for more Child Genius (pictured) and Coach Trip.

A fifth season of My Cat From Hell will premiere in the spring of 2014, with the 16-episode series continuing to follow “cat listener” Jackson Galaxy as he helps feline owners solve their conflicts.

The Eyeworks USA series will get to the bottom of cat and owner behavior, with its most recent season ranking in the top 10 Animal Planet series in the W25-54 and W18-49 demos.

Meanwhile in the UK, pubcaster Channel 4 has lined up a second series of Child Genius. Produced by Wall to Wall, the 4 x 60 minute series will follow 20 children and their families as they compete in a British Mensa-associated competition to be named the UK’s Child Genius of the Year.

The first series averaged a 2.1 million audience across its four episodes, with the second series set to air in 2014.

Also on Channel 4, 12 Yard has been tapped to produce a ninth series of Coach Trip. The daytime format sees tour guide Brendan Sheerin bring a group through a winding journey across Europe.

The 30 x 30-minute series follows the tourists as they take in the culture and customs of different countries, with a vote at the end of each day that sees the least popular pair of travelers leaving the bus.
