Canadian TV channel Oasis HD is to coproduce the upcoming wildlife series Bahama Blues with Parallax Film Productions.

Bahama Blues will explore the islands of the Bahamas for wildlife captured by underwater cinematographer Peter Zuccarini, whose credits include all four of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and Life of Pi. Zuccarini will work with fellow cameraman Sean F. White.

The coproduction deal with Oasis HD, a division of Blue Ant Media, will see the underwater series go into production in early 2014. Parallax’s producers are Ian Herring and Maija Leivo.

London-based distributor TVF International is to shop the six one-hour TV series internationally.
