Exclusive: Reed upped to EVP at Thinkfactory

Adam Reed (pictured), a longtime executive producer with the Los Angeles-based prodco founded by Leslie Greif, has officially been given the executive vice president title, following the company's recent acquisition by ITV.

Adam Reed (pictured), a longtime executive producer with Los Angeles-based prodco Thinkfactory Media, has officially been given the executive vice president title, following the company’s recent acquisition by ITV.

Reed has worked with company founder and CEO Leslie Greif since 2004, co-creating and exec producing the long-running A&E docusoap Gene Simmons Family Jewels. He also oversaw the rebranding campaign that saw the company transition from Boutique TV into Thinkfactory Media, and has been extensively involved in the development of assorted Thinkfactory unscripted series, including Preachers’ Daughters, Marriage Bootcamp: Bridezillas and R&B Divas among others.

Reed’s expanded position will see him take on a key management role in all areas of the company, while continuing to oversee creative and business development and day-to-day production across all series.

“Adam has been an integral part of every production that the company has produced since starting with me nine years ago,” said Greif in a statement. “He has been instrumental in transitioning Thinkfactory Media into a thriving mainstay network supplier. Adam has the rare ability to balance both creative and business sensibilities, which makes him an exceptional talent.”
