Orly Adelson to head ITV Studios America

Orly Adelson (pictured) has been named president of ITV Studios America, the U.S. production arm of the UK production group ITV Studios.

Adelson, currently the president of Dick Clark Productions, oversees the company’s titles, including So You Think You Can Dance?, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest¬†and awards shows including the Golden Globe Awards, American Music Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Beginning in January, she will head up ITV Studios America, which produces titles such as Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, The First 48 and Four Weddings. She will report to Paul Buccieri, the president and CEO of ITV Studios U.S. Group and managing director of ITV Studios International.

“Orly is the perfect blend of both creative and commercial, and has an impressive track record with some of the top brands on television,” said Buccieri.

“I’m confident that she will continue building on the success of ITV Studios America, which is a key component to our international operation, and take the business into its next level of growth.”
