Emmy victory for “The Voice”

NBC’s The Voice (pictured) picked up the Emmy award for Outstanding Reality Competition yesterday (September 22), fending off competition including CBS’s The Amazing Race and Lifetime’s Project Runway.

Other nominees in the category included Bravo’s Top Chef, Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

The latter show picked up an Emmy for Outstanding Choreography, for its Hey Pachuco/Para Los Rumberos/Walking On Air routine.

The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards took place yesterday in Los Angeles.
