Shine America ups Adam Neal

Shine America has promoted executive director of unscripted development Adam Neal (pictured) to the role of VP of development.

In his new role, Neal will continue to develop unscripted series for broadcast and cable. Currently, he is developing Covert Kitchens for Spike TV and Going Wild for Nat Geo Wild.

Neal joined Shine America last year, and has worked on programs for MTV, Spike, History and TruTV. Prior to Shine America, he was a producer on MasterChef, America’s Next Top Model, Live to Dance and School Pride. 

He has also served as the manager of development at Hearst Entertainment and was a manager of development at Fox TV Studios.

“Adam is a truly talented development executive with a great deal of experience and a strong ability to develop fresh and innovative projects,”said Chris Culvenor, senior VP of unscripted development at Shine America. “He’s played a huge role in the growth of our unscripted business and will continue to do so as our slate expands.”
