Pilgrim Studios has promoted Gretchen Stockdale to chief operating officer and general consul, as part of a string of promotions.

Stockdale was previously exec VP and general counsel. In her new role, she will oversee all of the production company’s daily operations, business and legal affairs.

Elsewhere, Brian Hunt has been named chief financial officer, tasked with overseeing all areas of corporate finance, while Johnny Gould is promoted from senior VP to exec VP of development and original programming. Gould will oversee non-scripted program development and sales.

Finally, Nicholas Caprio is promoted from senior VP to exec VP of production and current programming, overseeing all current and upcoming series.

“Looking back over the last 16 years, I’m proud of what Pilgrim has accomplished as an independent company,” said Pilgrim Studios’ CEO Craig Piligian. “However, our level of growth and success in this competitive industry can only be sustained by collaboration and teamwork.

“I consider ours to be the best team in the business and I am delighted to congratulate Gretchen Stockdale, Brian Hunt, Johnny Gould and Nicholas Caprio on their deserved and hard-earned promotions.”
