“I Can Do That!” heads to Brazil

Record TV in Brazil has licensed Armoza Formats’ I Can Do That!, with JSBC China also commissioning a full season of the show.

Record has commissioned a local season of the format and is opening up its set to Latin American partners for coproduction opportunities.

The deals follow other European countries, including France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Sweden and Norway, licensing the format last week.

The primetime game show tasks eight celebrities with performing a challenge and mastering a new talent before performing on a live stage, and was co-developed by JSBC and Armoza.

“We have high expectations for I Can Do That in Brazil,” said Mafran Dutra, artistic director for Record TV. “It’s a very dynamic format that is full of surprises for the viewers.”

“We know that all of Latin America is a hugely expanding market, and Brazil is obviously a massive factor in this growth,” added Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats. “As with the rest of the industry, Latin America is also looking for the next primetime hit.”
