U.S. cable net H2 is to premiere 10 Things You Don’t Know About – a series that sees musician Henry Rollins offering an alternative take on historical tales, figures and places – on November 2 at 9 p.m. EST.

The show is produced for H2 by Asylum Entertainment, with Steve Michaels, Jonathan Koch, Stuart Chait and Alex Piper serving as exec producers for the indie. Brian Meere serves as EP for the network.

Over the course of the series, Rollins will encounter “wild personalities, national treasures, and provocative details about some of America’s most fascinating subjects,” according to the network.

“To me, the only way to make history talk, for it to really grab you, is to get as close to it as possible”, Rollins said in a statement. “You need incredible access and a great deal of persistence to get where you want to go. We did it.”

The premiere episode focuses on U.S. presidential assassinations.
