Beyond Distribution has sold the second series of World's Weirdest Restaurants, a cuisine travel show hosted by Bob Blumer, into Asia and Latin America.

Beyond Distribution has sold the second series of World’s Weirdest Restaurants (pictured), a cuisine travel show hosted by Bob Blumer, into Asia and Latin America.

The series will now play out across multiple territories with sales to TVB Hong Kong, Discovery Asia-Pacific, UKTV in the UK, TLC Latin America, Discovery Italy, TVN Poland, Tokyovision Japan and Mediacorp Singapore.

The 28 x 30-minutes HD show, produced by Paperny Entertainment for Food Network Canada, showcases some of the world’s most extraordinary eateries, crazy characters and curious cuisines.

Munia Kanna-Konsek, head of sales for Beyond Distribution, said: “Although weird, the restaurants in this series are truly wonderful as well. Each episode has captured the imagination and light-heartedness of people that dare to try something different.”
