London-based factual distributor Scorpion TV has sold assorted titles, including Out in Mumbai (pictured), to broadcasters in Brazil, Taiwan and Holland.
Globosat in Brazil has picked up three titles, including The Search for the First European, a science road trip; Wolves Unleashed, which follows the attempt to produce the “biggest wolf film ever made”; and Out in Mumbai, on three people who travel to the city to celebrate the repeal of India’s anti-homosexuality laws.
DaAi TV in Taiwan has acquired The Search for the First European and Wolves Unleashed.
VRT in Belgium and DR in Denmark have both picked up Legally High, on the booming legal drug industry, while Suntower in Sweden has acquired the educational rights to Erasing Hate, about a former neo-Nazi who removed his racist tattoos.
Family Portrait in Black and White went to TVN in Poland, while Eva Airways in Taiwan and English Club TV in Ukraine picked up the travel series Places We Go.
Two airlines, meanwhile, picked up Xmas Without China, with British Airways and Jetstar Airways in Australia taking on the doc about a U.S. family challenged with not using or buying any “Made in China” products during the holiday season.
