“20 Feet,” “Blackfish” earn Satellite nods

The Square, Sound City, Blackfish (pictured), After Tiller and Tim’s Vermeer are among the doc nominees for the 18th annual Satellite Awards, a ceremony for film, television and new media presented by the International Press Academy.

The worldwide voting members – which include freelance and staff writers, bloggers, broadcasters and photographers – will vote on a number of categories in both film and television, with the winners announced at a ceremony in LA on March 9.
