U.S. cable network Discovery Fit & Health is to air the four-part series Sex Sent Me to the ER, which focuses on intimate mishaps, on January 3.

The GRB Entertainment series features first-hand accounts of emergency room physicians and the couples themselves who wind up in the hospital after injuries sustained from comprising situations.

Episodes of Sex Sent Me to the ER will include a boyfriend sending his girlfriend through the wall; a man who goes to the hospital with a broken penis only to have his wife and his girlfriend show up; and a man who is unable to move his limbs during sex, who winds up with a surprising diagnosis.

Sister network TLC has a second window on the series, and will begin airing it on January 4.

GRB also produces Untold Stories of the ER.
