Tricon hires VP of U.S. factual development

Toronto-headquartered Tricon Films & Television is beefing up its LA office with the appointment of Jeffrey Hevert (pictured) as VP of U.S. factual development.

Toronto-headquartered Tricon Films & Television is beefing up its LA office with the appointment of Jeffrey Hevert (pictured) as VP of U.S. factual development.

In the newly created role, Hevert will report to Tricon president Andrea Gorfolova.

Previously, Hevert was the VP of U.S. alternative development and current programming at eOne Entertainment, and prior to that he was a development executive for MTV’s West Coast reality team.

He has also worked in development at Stone and Company Entertainment and produced the multimedia doc series Meth Inside Out. 

“Jeff’s appointment furthers Tricon’s commitment to growing our production business worldwide,” said Gorfolova. “His experience in factual development, on both network and production sides, make him a valuable addition to our management team.”
