Mark Burnett’s prodco partners with Red Arrow for JV

Mark Burnett (pictured) has added a second UK company to his portfolio, with his prodco One Three Media teaming up with Munich-based Red Arrow Entertainment for a joint venture based in London.

Mark Burnett (pictured) has added a second UK company to his portfolio, with his prodco One Three Media teaming up with Munich-based Red Arrow Entertainment for a joint venture to be based in London.

The JV production company will work with Red Arrow’s partner CPL Productions to bring One Three Media’s U.S. formats to the UK, and will develop original content as well. CPL will provide strategic, production and administrative support for the new venture.

The new company will work out of CPL’s London office once it is open for business in January, with a head of the company to be announced at the same time.

The first UK company Burnett owns, along with his wife Roma Downey, is Lightworkers Media; a subsidiary based in London, which produced the miniseries The Bible.

“As I grew up in the UK, I am always looking at the best way to do more business here and when the opportunity came up with Red Arrow it just made sense,” said Burnett, One Three Media’s president. “We have partnered with Red Arrow’s CPL on several projects in the past. They are very similar to us in their commitment to providing quality content with unparalleled execution. It’s a great partnership.”
