U.S. cable network Sundance Channel has commissioned a non-fiction series on Loredana Nesci, a former LAPD officer turned lawyer, to air in March.

Loredana, ESQ is a 6 x one-hour series produced by Go Go Luckey. The series follows defense attorney Nesci as she defends people who may have made bad choices, in a quest to discover the truth.

Nicole Defusco and Jon Grosskopf are producing for the network, while for Go Go Luckey, Julie Auerbach, Henry Capanna, Tina Gazzerro, Sandy Guthrie, Laura Keats and Robert Misseri are the exec producers.

“This dramatic new unscripted series explores our contemporary legal system through the lens of Loredana Nesci, a cop turned defense attorney who is anything but what people expect,” said Nena Rodrigue, senior VP of original programming and production at Sundance Channel. “We think audiences will soak up the behind-the-scenes world of criminal defense.”
