UK indie Raw Cut has struck a deal with two UK news distributors, Caters News Agency and SWNS, to provide video content from the factual prodco’s back catalog.

The deal will see Raw Cut Clip Archive provide a variety of footage, captured on CCTV and mobile phone cameras from all over the world. The partners are billing it as a reciprocal relationship, which allows all parties to work reactively to breaking news.

Raw Cut’s archive manager Tom Levin said: “We can provide relevant and entertaining footage for feature pieces as well as hard-hitting crime clips that help bring to life hot-topics within the news agenda.

“Journalism is at the center of all content production at Raw Cut Clip Archive and integral to the stories behind our work. The archive is broad enough for us to be able to provide content to meet a diverse range of clients.”
