INSP hires VP, original programming

INSP, The Inspiration Network, has hired TV exec Craig Miller for the newly created position of VP of original programming.

INSP, The Inspiration Network, has hired TV exec Craig Miller (pictured) for the newly created position of VP of original programming.

Miller has over 20 years of experience working across the genres of docusoap, competition reality, lifestyle, how-to and documentary. He worked previously as VP of development at RIVR Media and as a supervising producer at Scripps.

“As we move forward in the creation of original content, [Craig's] experience and leadership in multi-platform programming is vital in advancing INSP’s vision to become America’s top-rated family entertainment network,” said Doug Butts, SVP of programming at the U.S. cable net, in a statement.

“[Craig] has launched 49 series which led to 1,760 episodes. In addition, he has functioned in roles as an account executive and graphic designer giving him invaluable industry experience from the ground up.”
