Sony Pictures TV Russia buys “The Hero,” “Duck Commander”

IAC-owned distributor Electus International has signed multiple distribution deals with Sony Pictures Television Networks Russia for titles including The Hero (pictured), 72 Hours and Duck Commander.

IAC-owned distributor Electus International has signed multiple distribution deals with Sony Pictures Television Networks Russia for titles including The Hero (pictured), 72 Hours and Duck Commander.

The deal covers 63 hours of content will air on channels in Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Select programming will also air in the Baltic States of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Programming covered in the deal includes the first seasons of The Hero and 72 Hours; the first two seasons of Buck Commander and Unsealed: Alien Files; and the first three seasons of Duck Commander.
