A new car restoration show entitled Ultimate Wheels (pictured) is headed to A+E Networks UK’s History channel this spring.

The 8 x 60-minute series, which is based on History’s popular vehicle restoration show Counting Cars, follows London Motor Museum owner Elo and mechanical mastermind Will Trickett as they transform Ferraris, Mustangs and VW campers into unique vehicles.

Ultimate Wheels is a completely new take on the car restoration genre, featuring one-off imaginative transformations that will appeal to History fans and car enthusiasts alike,” said Rachel Job, channel editor for History and H2, in a statement.

The series is being produced by Splash Media.
