Vienna-based distributor Autlook Filmsales has picked up the worldwide rights to natural history documentary A Symphony of Summits: The Alps from Above.

The German doc, which garnered crowds of over 100,000 at the country’s box office,┬áconsists exclusively of aerial Cineflex shots filmed from the peaks of Mont Blanc to the Dolomites and traces the history and geography of the Alps.

“The Alps are immensely popular in the whole of Europe and even beyond. Now an English voice-over is ready so the [European Film Market] is the best place to present the film to international buyers,” said Autlook theatrical director Salma Abdalla in a statement.

The documentary is produced by Vidicom Media and Alamode Films, which also released the film theatrically in Germany. Directors are Peter Bardehle and Sebastian Lindemann.
