Electric Sky grabs rights for footballer doc

The Life of Ryan follows Manchester United player Ryan Giggs and looks back on his 24 record-breaking years with the football club.

UK and Hong Kong-based distributor Electric Sky has secured international rights to a one-off doc from Fulwell 73 about Manchester United star Ryan Giggs.

The 60-minute doc, The Life of Ryan, looks back at Giggs’ 24 record-breaking years with the club and features archival footage, exclusive interviews and unique access. Football stars and celebrities featured in the doc include David Beckham, Martin Amis, Alessandro Del Piero, and Damian Lewis.

Originally produced for ITV, the doc was exec produced by Rhodri Burgess, Leo Pearlman and Gabe Turner and directed by Daniel Mendelle for Fulwell 73.
