Israel’s Armoza Formats is teaming up with Hungarian network Viasat3 to launch a competitive-reality fashion format called Runway in my Closet.

The format is the latest in a co-development venture between the two parties, and will be launched to international buyers at MIPTV in Cannes in April. The development of the project was supported by MTG CEE Broadcasting’s original content development Angel Fund.

Runway in my Closet will bring “a new twist to fashion,” according to the partners, with designers competing to turn shabby and worn outfits into “chic fashion sensations for everyday people.”

In a statement, Viasat3 program director Marika NĂ©meth said the show “aims to entertain the audience and also give ideas on how to make a worn outfit into a stylish dress – in a cost effective way.”
