AMC/Sundance Channel Global, the international division of AMC Networks has promoted Gail Gendler to VP of acquisitions and Patrick Connolly to VP of programming and scheduling.

AMC/Sundance Channel Global, the international division of AMC Networks has promoted Gail Gendler to VP of acquisitions and Patrick Connolly to VP of programming and scheduling.

Gendler joined AMC Networks in 2000 and oversees all acquisitions for AMC/Sundance Channel Global In her role, she spearheads multiplatform content deals and executes the acquisition strategy for Sundance Channel Global and WE tv Asia. She started at the company as director of rights and clearances.

Connolly, meanwhile, oversees scheduling, promotion planning and on-air creative for all linear and VoD programming for Sundance Channel Global and WE tv Asia. Prior to this role, he was a scheduling and programming consultant with Showtime.

Both execs report to Harold Gronenthal, exec VP of programming and operations, who said: “Gail and Patrick have been integral to the expansion of our global business.

“Their collaborative and strategic planning across all areas of programming as well as their knowledge of international TV has resulted in increased demand for AMC/Sundance Channel Global networks.”
