Dutch network RTL5 has commissioned a local version of ITV Studios’ entertainment format, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (pictured).

The eight x 60 minutes series will air under the title Ik Ben Een Ster, Haal Me Hier Uit! this spring. Production will take place in the Dutch speaking part of the South American country Suriname.

In I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, a group of celebs are dropped into a remote rainforest and compete in a series of challenges to be crowned “king or queen of the jungle.”

The show is now in its 13th season in the United Kingdom and is also a hit in Germany.

RTL5 also recently licensed the local format rights to Banijay International’s Sex Academy. The series will debut later in the year.
