GloboSat to bring “The Taste” to Brazil

Brazilian cable broadcaster GloboSat is to bring a local version of Red Arrow International’s culinary competition show The Taste to Brazil, following a format rights sale with the German entertainment group.

GloboSat, which will air the show on its GNT channel, will unveil The Taste to Brazilian audiences in 2015, according to Ana Carolina Lima, the channel’s programming manager.

The Taste, in which star chefs mentor and challenge teams of home cooks, has been picked up in more than 80 territories, by networks including Canada’s CTV, Australia’s Nine Network, Germany’s Sat.1, the UK’s Channel 4 and France’s M6.
