UK-based distributor Twofour Rights has sold two travel doc series to Discovery Networks Latin America in the run-up to MIPTV.

Tom Daley Goes Global (pictured, six x 60 minutes) sees the Olympian and his best friend head to the wilds of assorted countries, while James Nesbitt’s Ireland (eight by 30 minutes) follows the actor as he explores his homeland.

Both series were produced by Twofour Broadcast, with Tom Daley Goes Global being a copro between the UK producer and GroupM Entertainment.

Twofour Rights senior sales executive Eniela Bella brokered the deal on behalf of the distributor and said in a statement that “not only does it build-on our existing relationship with the network, but helps position Twofour Rights as a key content provider in the territory.”
