Red Bull pens VoD deal with South Korean KT

South Korean telecom group KT has partnered with Red Bull Media House in a deal that will see the latter company provide more than 150 VoD titles to KT's Olleh TV.

South Korean telecom group KT has partnered with Red Bull Media House in a deal that will see the latter company provide more than 150 VoD titles to KT’s Olleh TV.

Red Bull titles in the sports, lifestyle and documentary domains will be broadcast on IPTV platform Olleh TV, which offers a number of TV channels in South Korea and has more than five million subscribers. The slate includes Felix Baumgartner doc Mission to the Edge of Space; action sports highlight show Extreme CollXtion; break dance series Break’n Reality; and adventurer show eXplorers – Adventures of the Century.

“With IPTV VoD an increasingly popular choice worldwide, it’s a real pleasure to bring such a variety of our content to Korean audiences on Olleh TV, where they can watch on demand whenever they wish and enjoy our cutting-edge production values in high definition,” said Alexander Koppel, chief commercial officer of Red Bull Media House, in a statement.
