Howie Mandel’s Alevy Productions has struck a first-look deal with American Idol producer Core Media Group to exec produce on scripted and unscripted TV and digital projects.

Mandel (pictured above) is the longest running judge on America’s Got Talent and, along with partner Mike Marks, executive produces the TBS’ hidden camera show Deal With It. He also hosts the NBC game show Deal or No Deal.

“Over the course of my long-standing relationship with Howie, I have come to appreciate him as possessing that extremely rare combination of being an incredibly talented performer as well as a smart, savvy producer,” said Core Media Group president Marc Graboff in a statement. “I am excited to be back in business with Howie and Alevy.”

Both Alevy and Core Media Group’s television unit are based in Los Angeles. The Deal was brokered on behalf of Alevy Productions by WME, 3 Arts Entertainment and attorney Bill Sobel.
