German network Vox has acquired the cooking competition format Game of Chefs (pictured) from ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE).

The format was originally created by The Lab, a partnership between ITV Studios and Israel’s Reshet network. The German version of the show is being coproduced by ITV Studios and Constantine and will premiere in a weekend primetime slot next year.

In the series, three well-known chefs audition and then mentor groups of contestants through a series of challenges as part of a culinary bootcamp.

The 22-episode first season debuted in Israel in January and wrapped up this week. The finale drew a 49.2% audience share and an average of 40% across the run. Reshet has ordered a second season.
