MIPTV ’14: “Trinny & Susannah” format heads to Israel

Distributor Zodiak Rights has secured deals for makeover franchise Trinny & Susannah (pictured) with networks in Israel and Norway.

Israeli producer Abot Hameiri and Channel 10 will produce a 10 x 60-minutes local version of Trinny & Susannah: The British Are Coming, a new format developed by (and starring) the style divas and Hameiri.

Meanwhile, SBS/Discovery has commissioned a 24 x 60-minutes fourth season of Trinny & Susannah’s Makeover Mission from Zodiak and Mastiff Norway. The show, which has been retitled Trinny & Susannah: Mission Norway Celebrity Special, will air on female-skewing Norwegian network FEM.

The Trinny & Susannah Makeover Mission franchise is now airing in 15 markets, including Australia, Germany, Denmark, Finland, India and Italy.

Nine local versions have been produced, totaling 142 episodes.
