ITV Studios Australia hires Ben Ulm as head of content

The veteran producer (pictured) will work with managing director Anita Jacoby to expand the company's content business across networks in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

ITV Studios Australia has hired Ben Ulm (pictured) in the newly created role of head of content.

Ulm will oversee all genre divisions and work with managing director Anita Jacoby to expand the company’s content business across networks in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Formerly the head of factual entertainment for WTFN and also an exec producer for FremantleMedia in 2009, his credits include The Living Room and Bondi Vet and in recent years he developed Keeping Up With The Joneses, Bollywood Star and Tony Robinson Explores Australia.

He has 30 years of experience developing and producing factual, entertainment, reality and lifestyle programming for a variety of networks in the Australian, UK and U.S. markets.

“Ben is unquestionably one of the best in the business and he will play a pivotal role in the next phase of growth of ITV Studios Australia,” Jacoby said in a statement.
