U.S. net History has ordered a 10-episodes game show called Pawnography from Leftfield Pictures, based on the prodco’s hit reality series Pawn Stars (pictured).

The half-hour game show, which will premiere this summer, will be taped in front of a live studio audience, with production beginning in May in Las Vegas.

Elaine Frontain Bryant, History’s senior VP of programming and development, said the show “combines the two elements that make Pawn Stars an absolute fan favorite – history, and the fun, family-dynamic between the Harrisons and Chumlee.”

“This show gives viewers the chance to go head-to-head with the man who knows a little bit about everything, Rick Harrison, and take home treasurable items from the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawnshop.”

In each episode of the show, contestants will compete against each other and ‘The Pawn Stars’ in three rounds of trivia-style questions.

Russ McCarroll, Zachary Behr and Frontain Bryant are EPs for the network, while Brent Montgomery, David George, Shawn Witt and Michael Binkow serve as exec producers for Leftfield.
