Sarah Kuban (pictured) has been promoted from her role as a manager of programming for DIY Network to director of original programming and development for HGTV and DIY.
The exec will be working alongside Adam Fleischhacker and Lindsey Weidhorn, who were appointed as co-directors of original programming for HGTV in February.
Kuban joined Scripps Networks Interactive, which owns the two networks, in 2010 as a writer and producer for DIY creative services and moved to the programming team in 2012 as a manager. Her programming credits for the net include the Crashers franchise, Yardcore, Family Under Construction and Blog Cabin.
Kuban previously worked in sports production at ESPN, ABC Sports and NBC Sports.
