U.S. cable nets HGTV and DIY Network have greenlit 10 new series, with titles including Lakefront Bargain Hunt, The Expandables, Barnwood Builders, Mega Decks and Custom Built.

New shows heading to HGTV include Magilla Entertainment’s Lakefront Bargain Hunt, which showcases buyers purchasing their fantasy home on the water; and Left/Right’s Island Life (working title), in which homeowners search for the perfect island home.

Also in the works is 44 Blue Productions’ My Flipping Family (w/t), which follows LA-based single mother Lucila Sola as she launches her own home renovation and design business with her own mother and daughter.

On DIY Network meanwhile, two family renovation series are being made by Magnetic Productions: American Rehab: Buffalo (w/t) and American Rehab: Detroit.

Also in the pipeline is Pie Town Productions’ Pool Kings (w/t), which features the Caviness family as they build over-the-top pools for clients in their Oklahoma-based father and son business; and Tricon Films & Television’s The Expandables, which showcases contractor Rob Evans and his team as they create space-saving renovations for families who have outgrown their homes.

Finally, Silent Crow’s Barnwood Builders sees West Virginia master craftsmen deconstruct centuries-old barns and cabins to build modern homes; while Orion Entertainment’s Mega Decks follows an innovative deck and landscape company in Colorado; and Architect Films’ Custom Built sees deck designer Paul Lafrance and his crew of carpenters put their creative twist on home makeovers and inventive custom pieces.

Both HGTV and DIY Network are headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee and are owned by Scripps Networks Interactive.
