Former 51 Minds Entertainment exec Rabih Gholam (pictured) has been named exec VP of unscripted programming at Ryan Seacrest Productions (RSP), where he will manage development and new business opportunities.

Gholam was most recently overseeing development as exec VP of alternative programming at LA-based prodco 51 Minds Entertainment, where his credits included Whodunnit? (ABC), Same Name (CBS) and Somebody Has to Go (Fox).

At RSP, Gholam will report to Eugene Young, president of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians prodco. Gholam entered the industry through late-night television, first working for The Craig Ferguson Show at CBS and later Talkshow with Spike Feresten at FOX.

He also served as an executive producer at MTV, where he worked on the reality series The Hills.

“Rabih is a prolific producer and creator of content,” said Young in a statement. “He has a keen eye for projects with vast commercial appeal. His intelligence, experience and relationships are sure to energize our growing team at RSP.”
